1. Information We Collect

We only collect information you actively submit through one of the forms on this website. We do not require accounts, and we do not process payments.

• Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), project type, project description, and optionally your timeline, budget range, and how you found us.
• Newsletter: your email address and, optionally, your name.
• Internship applications: your name, email address, phone number, location, education and experience details, links you choose to share (portfolio, GitHub, LinkedIn), and your written answers about skills, motivation, and career goals.

When you submit a form we also record your IP address and browser user-agent string. We use these solely to detect and prevent automated spam and abuse.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, to assess internship applications, and — if you subscribed — to send you our newsletter. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Form submissions are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, who act as our data processor. The database is located in the Northeast Asia (Seoul) region.

This website is hosted by Vercel. If you are located outside these regions, your information will be transferred and processed there.

Access to submitted data is restricted to authorised Confluent Solutions personnel through an authenticated internal admin interface.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the infrastructure providers named above, who process it on our behalf, and where we are required to do so by law.

5. How Long We Keep It

• Contact enquiries: up to 24 months after your last contact with us.
• Internship applications: up to 12 months from the date of application.
• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we retain your email address on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again by mistake.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time — see section 7.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our forms do not set advertising or tracking cookies. If website analytics are enabled, they are covered in our Cookie Policy. Our spam protection is handled in-house and does not set third-party cookies or share your data with an external anti-bot service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@confluent.solutions. We aim to respond within 30 days. To stop receiving our newsletter, you can also use the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter email.

8. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
